Revenue Operations Analyst - Deal Desk Manager

As our Deal Desk Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the sales team in managing the entire quote-to-cash process, including structuring deals, leveraging pricing strategy, quote management and facilitating contract reviews. 

You’ll work collaboratively with our Legal, Finance, Customer Success, Renewals, and Rev Ops teams to ensure deals are structured and negotiated to comply with LeanData’s policies and processes. You will become an expert on LeanData's offerings and help optimize our quote-to-cash processes, pricing, and tools. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote Management:

    • Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of a quote to an order with discretion and independent judgment, adhering to the policies and procedures currently in place.

    • Manage complex day-to-day proposal and contract creation processes, working closely across teams to articulate customer requirements, business case, and deal value to various stakeholders across LeanData.

  • Collaboration & Strategy:

    • Partner with sales leaders to understand close plans and timelines for high-level deals.

    • Provide deal strategy, structuring, review, and business policy advice to sales to maximize current and future revenue while maintaining an acceptable risk profile based on segment, product line, and intrinsic value of the deal to LeanData.

    • Administer the approval process for the most complex and high-visibility sales transactions to meet customer’s critical business requirements while expediting sales velocity and adhering to LeanData’s operational policies, and accounting and legal practices.

  • Communication & Administration:

    • Ensure non-standard requests received from AEs, AMs, and CSMs are communicated clearly and accurately, with adequate justification provided.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing complex sales processes and familiarity with quote-to-cash processes.

  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and contract management.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.

  • Proficiency in leveraging sales tools and platforms.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in deal structuring and negotiation.
