WinnCompanies is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at our Boston corporate headquarters. In this role, you will apply project management and instructional design skills to develop, coordinate, evaluate, and improve a variety of learning and development initiatives, including learning and onboarding programs. WinnCompanies focuses on developing our Property Management and Maintenance/Facilities teams. In this role you will work closely with both property operators and maintenance skilled team members, by creating and refining new and existing learning and on-boarding programs.
You will partner with key subject matter experts and stakeholders on a variety of projects and facilitate learning sessions. You will also maintain organization-wide communication and marketing for Learning & Development resources and programs, and will design and deploy performance support tools.
Please note that this role will require working in the office 3 days per week (preferred schedule is Tuesday through Thursday).

Manages, designs, and supports various learning and onboarding programs as assigned, from beginning to intermediate complexity utilizing project management skills and instructional design methodology

Creates and improves associated performance support tools (e.g., onboarding plans, eLearning content, video walk-throughs, job aids, etc.)

Builds and maintains relationships by partnering with internal customers/key stakeholders to ensure assigned learning programs and solutions are aligned with current business needs.

Maintains and regularly reevaluates L&D intranet page, markets learning sessions, and maintains L&D department communication on internal platforms

Facilitates in-person and virtual learning sessions as assigned. Coaches Subject Matter Experts on technology and facilitation skills, as needed.

Supports and manages L&D-related systems as assigned.

Collaborates on management of Learning & Development systems (LMS, survey platforms, etc.).

Provides support for company sponsored events and other projects as assigned.

Stays informed on instructional design and adult learning theory best practices.

Associate's degree.

5-7 years of work experience.

2-3 years of project management experience.

1-3 years of instructional design experience.

Experience with learning technology tools (i.e. Adobe Captivate, Storyline, or similar).

Experience with facilitation.

Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and initiatives defined by business need. Ability to respond to changes with an open mind and use sound judgment to manage priorities.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Intermediate skills in instructional design technology (Rise 360, PowerPoint, etc.) and other web-based applications.

Outstanding verbal and written skills.

Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field.

Project Management certification.

Instructional Design certification.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
