Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you're working with people you can constantly learn from. You're trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what's possible and what's next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.
We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that's what we value.
Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

The Hudl Legal team serves as a trusted advisor and collaborative partner to the other Hudl departments. We're looking for a Legal Contracts Specialist to join our expanding team whose mission is to help. Hudlies make informed and ethical business decisions by providing balance, efficient, and practical legal advice. The Legal Contracts Specialist will be a primary point of contact responsible for commercial contract review, drafting, revisions, and negotiations, as well as supporting the continued buildout of related systems and process adoption.
Our flexible work policy means you can decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office, or within commuting distance within one of these offices located in Nebraska.
- Experienced. You have spent years reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including data privacy and security in SaaS. You understand government procurement requirements, including RFPs, and you know what it means to work with this type of customer. You're well-versed in supporting stakeholders–helping them understand and manage the expectations of all parties.
- Process-driven and Efficient. You have enhanced efficiency and standardization in a growing business and are skilled in analyzing, synthesizing, explaining, and negotiating legal terms. You have created and utilized self-service contracts, training materials, playbooks, and related workflow processes and platforms.
- Risk Analyzer. You can analyze and negotiate legal risks, with both the ability to work independently with little guidance and an understanding of when matters need escalation within or outside of the legal team.
- Effective Communicator. You are organized and process-driven but can be flexible and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across teams with an attitude that no job is too big or too small.
- Tech-Savvy. Familiarity with Ironclad, Salesforce, Adobe, Slack, Microsoft Office, and other applications relevant to legal operations and contract management is highly valuable.
- Dominate contracts. You will review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS sales, vendor, marketing, nondisclosure, licensing, real estate, events, and other operational contracts. You will develop appropriate contract templates, modifying and drafting supplementary language as necessary for specific customer and provider transactions.
- Be a trusted liaison. You will work collaboratively with the legal team and other stakeholders to identify gaps between proposed contract terms and identified business requirements and capabilities. You will assist in managing the contract repository and compliance with existing contract terms and conditions.
- Drive system implementation and contract management. You will support the implementation and ongoing use of Hudl's contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool. You'll contribute to and offer feedback regarding the ongoing development of a contract playbook and clause library. You will collaborate with other Hudl teams on improving contract efficiency in conjunction with existing Hudl systems. You will create and execute appropriate CLM and contract training for stakeholders.
- Win the details. You will determine whether contract requests that vary from established standards can be accepted or will require additional review. You will manage risk through careful consideration of customer's terms and conditions. You will work collaboratively to ensure adherence to compliance and regulations.
- Contract-savvy. You understand the basics (SaaS is helpful!) and have used playbooks to guide your contract review.
- Experienced. You bring 3+ years prior work experience in a fast-paced corporate legal and/or business environment.
- A great collaborator. You're the go-to resource to minimize friction across departments.
- A solid communicator. You can translate legalese and negotiate to get things done.
- Manage legal requests. You'll be responsible for tracking and assigning legal requests from internal stakeholders.
- Handle work from start to finish. You'll review, interpret, draft and revise domestic and global agreements in accordance with departmental playbooks.
- Think globally. You'll manage global corporate entity requirements and assist with required filings.
- Find opportunities. We're always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and streamline our processes.
- Champion work-life harmony. We'll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you'll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We're lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We'll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you're at the office or working remotely, we'll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees' wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you'll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that's free money. We'll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
