As a Legal Operations Consultant, you will be an integral part of our legal operations team. You will work closely with senior legal professionals and cross-functional teams to support the implementation of best practices, optimize legal processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our legal department. Under management direction, you will work on assignments requiring a high degree of technical complexity and coordination.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of legal operations strategies, policies, and procedures.

Support the maintenance and management of legal systems and technologies, such as matter management, document management, and e-billing tools.

Collaborate with legal team members to improve workflow processes and identify opportunities for automation and streamlining.

Assist in the coordination of legal project management initiatives, ensuring timely completion and tracking progress.

Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal operations projects and initiatives.
-
Assist with vendor management, including maintaining relationships and ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of services.

Support the implementation and maintenance of legal compliance programs and policies.

Assist with legal reporting and metrics analysis to assess departmental performance.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in legal operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
-
Strong interest in legal operations and a desire to develop a career in this field.

Experience creating SharePoint sites and working with Microsoft Teams.

Basic understanding of legal processes and concepts.

Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems with the ability to effectively manage ambiguous situations and issues.

Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with legal systems and technologies is a plus.
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Professional designation preferred.
