We are a small and lean team and are looking for a strong, self-starter to help support our marketing and product team. You will be working closely with our CEO and Head of Marketing to create effective designs to amplify and support our marketing and go-to-market strategy. Our staff is currently spread between North America and Asia with a focus on Japan. This position is remote and meetings are regularly scheduled in the US and Japan time zones. Flexibility in meeting hours will be required. Travel may also required a few times a year for onboarding, in-person planning sessions, client support, and conferences.
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who is passionate about visual storytelling and creating compelling designs. The designer will collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and creative teams to develop engaging visual assets that resonate with our target audience and elevate our brand identity.
Responsibilities:
Create captivating visual designs for various marketing materials including social media graphics, digital ads, signs, billboards, email campaigns, and print collateral.
Develop eye-catching illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements to enhance our brand messaging and storytelling.
Create mockups and renderings of our products including digital user interfaces and physical items
Design and maintain consistent brand assets such as logos, icons, and brand guidelines to ensure brand coherence across all touchpoints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute design projects that meet business objectives and align with marketing strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Contribute creative ideas and concepts during brainstorming sessions and offer design solutions to address marketing challenges.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Figma, Canva, and other relevant tools.
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate creative briefs into visually compelling designs.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning in the field of graphic design.
