FinOps Specialist (USAF Cloud One) – Various Level & Locations

DescriptionLeidos is pursuing the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has several openings for various levels of across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience help modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.• UNFUNDED CONTINGENT UPON AWARD; EXPECTED SPRING 2025/TBD***Location:These positions will be hybrid remote. Candidates may be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Gunter AFB (Montgomery, AL), Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA), Andrews AFB (D.C. Metro Area) or Joint Base Charleston, SC. If any of these locations interest you, please consider applying.Primary Responsibilities Could Include• Provide FinOps support for AWS, Azure, Google, and/or Oracle environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems.• Recommend and assist C1 in implementing cloud financial operations management strategies to optimize cost savings• Provide Cloud FinOps expertise, training, and guidance• Analyze cloud cost data• Provide and implement FinOps benchmarks and key performance indicators• Provide FinOps training sessions and training materials• Provide FinOps training sessions quarterly• Liaison with Customer on FinOpsMinimum Qualifications• Bachelors and five (5) years or more of experience; Masters and three (3) years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.• Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment• US citizenship required• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)Preferred Qualifications• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle cloudsPlease disregard the pay range listed on the posting.
