Description Job Description... The Operations Planner is responsible for providing a full range of operations planning support. Duties include working as an integral member of a government/contractor team assigned at a U.S. Government location. The job may require domestic and international travel ranging 1-3 weeks in length. Duties include: • Supporting long-term operations planning and readiness activities. • Perform documentation management activities, to include creating, reviewing, editing, revising, and tracking operation related documents and multimedia products. • Coordinate travel and training required for overseas readiness and operations. • Track training and certification status of personnel. • Perform analysis and planning for new or modified overseas locations. • Support the front office in day-to-day activities, such as action item responses, monitoring and responding to relevant action correspondence. • Perform ad hoc general duties, including watch-standing, as tasked by the sponsor. Required Qualifications: • To be considered, candidates must currently possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Candidates who do not possess this clearance will not be considered. • Bachelor’s degree • 8 years experience providing the full range of operations planning support. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree. • Ability to work independently, with limited to no direction for extended periods, 12+hrs a day, during overseas travel. Desired Qualifications: • Analytical skills sufficient to assess moderately complex information from multiple sources and draw logical conclusions. • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team and customers. • Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers’ routine to moderately complex questions in a clear and concise manner, report the status of assigned tasks, and write e-mails to provide customers with required information. • Ability to manage activities and office workflow under tight deadlines. Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
