Senior Data Architect

DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Data Architect to provide technical and managerial leadership for major data and technology projects at Leidos. In this role, you will design and develop complex data solutions and lead the development of enterprise data architectures. Our team is responsible for a scalable, cloud-based repository and is looking for an individual with strong communication skills and extensive experience in data architecture. If you are a Subject Matter Expert in data architecture with exceptional expertise, we encourage you to apply.Primary Responsibilities:• Design and develop solutions to complex data sets• Lead the development of enterprise data architectures and strategies• Establish processes for governing the identification and use of corporate metadata• Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions• Review object and data models for better data managementBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience• 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 10-13 years of relevant experience• Strong communication skills• US Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:• Experience with Apache Niagra Files (NiFi), Apache TIKA, Databricks, and Lakehouse architecture• Knowledge of ElasticSearch and AWS SQS• DOD Top Secret Clearance is requiredPay Range: $122,200.00 - $220,900.00Leidos is an inclusive and diverse employer committed to creating a workplace where everyone can achieve their full potential.
