R-00140261DescriptiononLeidos Defense Systems currently has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer supporting the RF Engineering portfolio in Huntsville, AL for the Aerospace Systems Group. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in software development and software maintenance for advanced RF systems that provide critical information to customers.Primary Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the software engineering for full stack software, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms.Basic Qualifications:• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics with 2+ years of relevant experience• Experience with CUDA programming, familiarity with QT and Boost Libraries, and build systems such as Cmake.• Git version control• Experience with software design.• Comfortable with Linux OS• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications:• Real time processing experience, containerization such as PodMan or Docker , MATLAB, python, Java, Agile developmentSecurity Requirements:Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI POLYOriginal Posting Date: 2024-07-29While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
