We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to forge new distribution opportunities for our fast-growing products, such as Lemonade Car—our newest product—with huge business potential.
You’ll help shape and execute Lemonade’s distribution strategy—building key relationships with decision makers, both within Lemonade, and with potential external partners. You will also help drive partner negotiations and cooperate cross-functionally within the company to launch strategic partnerships.
Build and implement Lemonade's partnership distribution strategy
Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, working with multiple internal and external teams including R&D, Product, Legal, and Finance
Act as a thought partner to management and leadership
Deliver actionable insights such as reporting on industry trends
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably at a fast-growing tech company (direct-to-consumer is an advantage), or tech-focused insurance company
Ability to deliver value fast, but with impeccable attention to detail
Creativity, drive, a talent for communication and a passion for collaborating with diverse partners
Organizational skills, a systematic and data-driven mindset with a demonstrated comfort in using data platforms
A passion for building relationships, identifying common interests, and harnessing resources both inside and outside of an organization
Adept at working both individually and collaboratively across different time zones with preference to EST
The starting base range for this position is between $140,000 and $150,000 per year. Base pay is one component of Lemonade's total compensation package, which will also include equity in the form of RSUs, access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, robust PTO, parental leave, and more.
