The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Django, experience with TypeScript, and a solid understanding of AWS services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.• A career with purpose.• A career built on making dreams come true.• A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.Your Responsibilities On The Team• Design, Develop, and Maintain Backend Services and APIs: Utilize Python and Django to build and sustain backend services.• Collaborate with Front-End Developers: Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.• Optimize Applications: Enhance speed and scalability.• Implement Security and Data Protection Measures: Ensure the safety and integrity of data.• Troubleshoot, Debug, and Upgrade Existing Software: Resolve issues and improve existing systems.• Write and Maintain Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation is available.• Participate in Code Reviews: Ensure code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing.• Adhere to Engineering Practices and Processes: Follow and promote test-driven development, software architecture/design, and performance focus.• Proactive Problem Solving: Ensure users receive the best experience by addressing issues promptly.• Monitor and Manage AWS Infrastructure: Maintain high availability and performance of AWS services.• Project Ownership: Take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle.Requirements• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.• Experience: 3-5 years in backend development using Python and Django.• Proficiency: Skilled in TypeScript.• AWS Services: Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).• API Design: Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.• SQL Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.• Security Practices: Understanding of security and data protection.• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities.• Communication Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities.• Personal Attributes: Team-oriented, confident but not arrogant, strong sense of ownership, and a proactive mindset.Preferred Qualifications• Automated Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing tools.• CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.• Docker and Container Tools: Experience with containerization.• Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices design and implementation.Life at LennarAt Lennar, Everything’s Included in our homes, and Everyone’s Included on our team.
