Description And Requirements
Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Product Introduction Marketing Manager responsible for successfully launching new B2B and B2C products, solutions and services into the North America market. This role ensures that all marketing launch strategies and activities align with the company's objectives and that new offerings are positioned... effectively to the target audiences.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the NPI Marketing Manager drives the adoption of our latest innovations and ensures a seamless go-to-market strategy for North America. This role requires strong project management experience to drive high-impact product and service launches across Lenovo’s vast consumer and commercial portfolio.
Responsible for project management & execution of cross-functional and regional launch programs from initiation to completion, the NPI marketing manager will develop detailed launch plans which include requirements, scope, deliverables, budget and schedules. Drives execution of launch plans, monitoring and ensuring plans are completed within budget, schedules and quality standards.
Product Launch Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with company objectives and target market needs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, PR, BUs and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective launch strategies.
Market Analysis: Research market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to position our product effectively in the market.
Content Creation: Coordinate the creation of product marketing materials such as videos, website content, social assets, and press releases.
Training: Ensure sales and customer service teams are trained on new products' features, benefits, and value propositions.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and sales metrics post-launch, adjusting marketing strategies as necessary. Implement process improvements.
Budget Management: Monitor the budget for new product marketing activities, ensuring optimal ROI.
Marketing Activation: Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product launch events, industry events, and other marketing activities.
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of new product introduction initiatives.
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of marketing experience with product launch or product management roles.
Preferred Requirements:
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product management, sales, and other marketing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify approaches & solutions to challenges.
Hybrid:
This role will include work from our Morrisville, NC campus and work from home weekly.
