Leonardo.Ai seeks a Delivery Manager to join our expanding global AI Research team.

The Role
The AI Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our AI Research team in delivering projects and experiments. This role will create transparency, provide regular progress updates, and help streamline the project lifecycle to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will leverage your expertise in project delivery, along with your understanding of AI and machine learning, to bridge the gap between research objectives and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery and Coordination:
Collaborate with AI Researchers to set project timelines and milestones, ensuring clarity and alignment across the team.
Act as the primary point of contact for progress updates, tracking, and issue resolution within AI research projects.
Facilitate planning and retrospective sessions to drive continuous improvement and optimise project workflows.
Transparency and Reporting:
Design and implement reporting mechanisms to maintain transparency on project status, risks, and dependencies.
Provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive view of AI initiatives.
Process Optimisation:
Identify opportunities to streamline delivery workflows, reducing bottlenecks and enhancing productivity across projects.
Work closely with DevOps, Data, and Tooling teams to support process improvements, particularly in areas impacting AI research.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Product and Engineering to align research objectives with overall company goals.
Work alongside AI Researchers to establish clear documentation standards and practices that aid in knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in project delivery roles such as Iteration Manager, Project Manager, or Product Owner.
Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or experience working in an AI R&D environment.
Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to facilitate collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
A skilled stakeholder manager with experience working with senior leaders.
Additional Skills:
Background in reporting tools and analytics for progress tracking and issue management.
Experience optimising workflows and understanding research-based project requirements.
Highly adaptable and capable of quickly learning new tools and processes as needed.

Round 1 - Meet Your Recruiter:

Round 3 - Technical Task:
If you're applying for a technical role, you may be given a short take-home task to assess your skills and approach to problem-solving. This could be a real-life business scenario to unpack, a presentation, a test or a collaboration exercise. (Please note, depending on the role, the order of rounds 2 & 3 are interchangeable)
Round 4 - Values interview:
You'll be able to meet with the Department Head for a short, informal conversation to understand your potential impact, the growth area we can support, and how aligned you are with our values and culture.
