Content Specialist

LeoTech is looking for an entry level Content Specialist responsible for working in a variety of ways to include researching news, digital media, marketing, web, and print.  The position requires writing and editing strategic documents for marketing and distribution purposes. This is a remote position, and candidates must possess the work ethic to perform consistently with little supervision.

• Meeting with LEOTECH staff to ideate and define content goals.
• Research content and public safety trends to ensure content is relevant and appealing.
• Develop content strategies to effectively reach desired target audience.
• Create content for a variety of platforms and distribution goals.
• Proofreading and editing content before distributing.
• Working with 3rd party vendors to develop new content ideas.
• Managing content calendars and ensuring content is consistent across all platforms.
• Tracking content analytics and generating presentations.
• Keeping up to date with current trends, advancement in technology, and ensuring timely delivery of assignments.

• Desired bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas of literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.
• Minimum 3-year experience in a related environment
• Content Creation
• Marketing, Communications, or similar field
• Classroom/Remote Training skill sets
