Payroll Clerk

PAYROLL CLERK - Upland, CA

Join our Family: The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation's largest privately held real estate developers, is excited to recruit an experienced, personable individual for the full-time Payroll Clerk role at our Upland, CA corporate office.

In your new role, you will report to our Payroll Supervisor and provide payroll services to our Lewis employees. An overview of your duties will include:

Collecting, processing, and filing payroll documents
Maintaining employee garnishments.
Preparing month-end reconciliations.
Serve as a backup for processing bi-weekly payroll.
Maintain various payroll-related spreadsheets.
Provide information to employees and management regarding payroll items.
Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and reports and other duties as necessary.

Skills & Experience for your success:

Prior payroll and/or accounting experience is a highly preferred, but not required.
Basic MS Excel skills are required as well as professional communication skills for interacting with employees and management.
Any experience with UKG HRIS systems is a definite plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in your payroll operations work is required.
