LG Ad Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist. Your primary responsibility will be to take charge of our research initiatives and drive data science projects. Your objective will be to establish a methodology that bridges our data infrastructure with computational outputs, aimed at enhancing Advertiser’s return on investment (ROI) for media campaigns with LG Ads. Collaboration with diverse teams will be essential as you identify methodological proposals and goals, craft experiments, and create predictive models to address crucial business challenges. We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in research methodologies, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization within the Ad Tech domain.
Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve our product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations
Apply machine learning techniques to business problems at the intersection of product and data science
Build analytical framework to facilitate product strategies and business prioritizations
Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into scalable products
Present your research and insights to all levels of the company and cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, and customer success teams
Drive innovation by exploring new data sources, technologies, and methodologies
Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in AI and machine learning
Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics and data science functions, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams to drive revenue
Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in linear and digital advertising in Ad Tech
