LHH is working with their client looking to add a talented Business Development Manager to the team. The ideal candidate will support multiple segments within the business and generate new prospects, RFPs, and work with customers throughout the entire business cycle. This role will involve heavy travel (up to 70%) and will be in office the remainder of the time. Apply today and let’s talk!Responsibilities:• Lead the sales effort to pursue and acquire potential new business supporting both OEM and aftermarket segments.• Identify new opportunities with both current and prospective clients, optional RFPs, RFQs and RFI requests, generate new business proposals and close business.• Lead and conduct business, industry, market and platform, product, and competitor analysis to develop a strategy that supports business growth.• Contribute to sales forecasting and long-term business planning.• Support marketing activities that generate growth including trade shows, conferences, industry events and media.• Travel up to 60-70% of the time to support sales efforts.Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree, Master's Degree preferred.• 7+ years of professional sales and business development experience-aviation/aerospace background a must.• Proven track record of generating sales and driving growth/results.• Excellent verbal and communication skills.• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.• Strong customer service background with excellent negotiation skills.
