ControllerLHH is seeking an experienced Controller who possesses exceptional accounting and finance prowess to join a growing Construction company. The company is growing and this is a newly created position which will lead the accounting/finance functions for a $20M+ business unit. Awesome benefits.Overview:You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for the business unit, including owning the close process, financial statement prep, and monitoring the budget for the multiple projects of the division. You will oversee work in progress (WIP), and project accounting functions, in addition to general ledger activities, job cost analysis and ad hoc reporting.This hands-on position requires someone comfortable implementing best practices, policies, and procedures. You will supervise 1 employee directly, and be able to utilize shared services (15+ accountants and AP/AR staff).Your communication skills must be on point. You will ensure appropriate financial and internal control processes and changes are implemented across the board as the company continues to grow.Job Requirements• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business• 5-7+ years’ accounting/finance experience,• Industry Experience in: Construction, Architecture or Engineering is preferred (would consider Manufacturing as well)• Strong knowledge of US GAAP• Highly proficient with, MS Office, including demonstrable expertise with Excel• Familiarity with ERP SystemsLocation: Conshohocken, PA (on site)Salary: $130-150KBonus: discretionaryBenefits include: competitive 401K, medical, dental, visionIf you can see yourself in this fast-paced role, then contact me today for immediate consideration.
