LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Inventory Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Dublin, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have strong inventory accounting experience ensuring inventory efficiency measures and minimizing inventory related risks. The responsibilities include compiling and analyzing... data for weekly/monthly inventory receipts, invoiced, and consumed, review cycle counts for unexpected variances and fluctuations, collaborate with operations on inventory variances and inventory audit, maintain inventory database, work with operations regarding inventory prices and adjustments, monthly account reconciliations for all inventory products, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
- Inventory accounting experience required
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, understanding debits and credits (GAAP)
- Strong computer/technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel - Intermediate)
- Software experience with a medium to large ERP platform
- Good communications (verbal & written)
- Detailed, reliable, and organized
- Team player, a positive attitude, and quick to learn
Experience: 2 years of Inventory Accounting experience (Inventory Accountant, Cost Accountant, Fixed Asset Accountant, Staff Accountant)
