LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a HYBRID Payroll Specialist in St. Louis, MO. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining payroll records, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll matters.Job Title: Payroll SpecialistLocation: St. Louis, MO (HYBRID - 2 to 3 days remote)Job Type: Full-Time; Monday-FridayKey Responsibilities:• Payroll Processing:• Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.• Data Management:• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.• Update employee information, such as changes in job title, department, or pay rate.• Ensure all payroll transactions are accurately recorded in the payroll system.• Reporting:• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.• Generate payroll-related reports for accounting and auditing purposes.• Compliance:• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.• Process and file payroll taxes, including quarterly and annual reports.• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.• Customer Service:• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.• Provide support and training to employees on payroll-related issues and self-service systems.• Other Duties:• Assist with the preparation of year-end reports, such as W-2s.• Participate in audits by providing payroll information and documentation.• Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:• 1+ years of payroll processing experience required• Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Vista Viewpoint) and timekeeping systems.• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $72,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Amanda BellsonEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements.
