Job Title: Payroll SpecialistLocation: Rancho Cucamonga, CAEmployment Type: Direct HireSalary: $80,000 - $95,000 per yearPosition Overview:LHH is seeking a Payroll Specialist for our client in Rancho Cucamonga. As the Payroll Specialist, you will report directly to the VP of Payroll and will be responsible for handling payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple states, as well as processing payroll for our client's five employees in India. This is a critical role that will allow the VP of HR to focus on strategic initiatives while you manage the day-to-day payroll operations.Key Responsibilities:• Process semi-monthly payroll for 300 employees in multiple states.• Manage monthly payroll processing for employees based in India.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies.• Collaborate with the HR department to streamline payroll processes.• Provide support during audits and assist with reporting requirements.Qualifications:• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience; a degree in a related field is highly preferred.• CPP certification is highly preferred.• Extensive experience in multi-state payroll processing is required.• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
