Our client is looking to hire a Public Relations Coordinator to support their team remotely!

TARGET START DATE: Immediate
JOB TYPE: Contract, W2, Benefited
DURATION: 6-12 months, potential to convert for the right fit
What you’ll be doing:
• Works with the communications and marketing team to create strategic communications aligned with company goals.
• Manages media placements to fit regional and company-wide objectives.
• Drafts media materials like press releases, talking points, emails, social media posts, web content, and presentations.
• Helps write internal communications for key initiatives.
• Coordinates media opportunities as part of strategic planning.
• Plans events and promotions to boost community and employee visibility.
• Engages with various internal and external stakeholders to drive campaigns forward.
• Identifies local opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Updates and replaces materials as required.
• Analyzes and prepares reports for planning.
• Supports local distribution of marketing messages and materials.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or relevant field
• 1-2+ years of public relations experience, can include internships
• Preferred experience in an agency setting and/or working in the healthcare industry
• Strong PR writing experience and exposure to Media Relations
• Ability to share writing samples, preferably press releases and/or blog posts
