We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial/Accounting Professional to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage the institution’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records.• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.• Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial/accounting role, preferably within an academic or non-profit setting.• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume via email at christine.kiernan@lhh.com
