LHH is working with a small publicly traded company in Plano, TX on a Senior Corporate Accountant opportunity. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking out of public accounting and into industry. The Senior Corporate Accountant will assist with the monthly financial statements, SOX controls as well as ad-hoc projects. We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of GAAP and analytical mindset.• This position pays $85-105k and offers a mostly remote work environment*Job Responsibilities:• Support the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP• Perform monthly entries, reconciliations, audit schedules, and variance analysis• Analyst process improvement opportunities and implement best accounting practices• Provide support throughout the external audit processes• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls in areas of responsibility• Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as neededJob Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance• CPA or CPA candidate is preferred• Public accounting experience• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a professional demeanor• Creative thinking ability, self-motivation, and a driven attitudeIf you are interested in this opportunity, or any other career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions please send your resume to Alison Sibley at alison.sibley@lhh.com
