LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking highly motivated Financial Services External Auditors at both the Senior & Managers levels. These roles will be responsible for leading and conducting comprehensive audits across our client’s financial services portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of financial services, including wealth and asset management, insurance, and banking and capital markets. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in public accounting, particularly in external audit roles.Responsibilities:• Lead the execution of audits of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.• Manage integrated audits, including compliance with SOX 404.• Lead audit engagements, overseeing junior team members and coordinating with client management.• Perform detailed review of audit workpapers prepared by staff.• Analyze financial statements and assess audit risks.• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to client management.Requirements:• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in external audit within a public accounting firm, with significant exposure to financial services clients.• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX 404 compliance.• CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing.• Experience as a Senior, Manager, or Senior Manager in previous roles is advantageous.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Information:• Expected in start in Q4, with weekly hours increasing to 55 hours from January through the end of busy season (March/April)• Opportunity for gaining Big Four experience and advancing in a dynamic environment.• Competitive compensation package reflective of experience and skills.• Recurring opportunities for career advancement within a prestigious Big Four firm.Benefits Information:Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
