LHH is working with a leading Non-Profit committed to delivering exceptional value and making a difference locally. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:• Support annual and multi-year financial planning by anticipating business changes, identifying trends, aligning stakeholders on critical inputs, completing input models, and ensuring accurate reflection of planning and reporting data in financial systems• Serve as the subject matter expert for financial planning software, handling the technical aspects of the planning process• Assist with the quarterly board reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, forward-looking projections, and detailed written analysis• Contribute to the development and maintenance of cost accounting frameworks to ensure precise tracking of recurring costs• Create both qualitative and quantitative financial analyses for key internal clients, including senior management, and support special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed• Design and implement new reports and dashboards, streamline processes, enhance automation, and improve analytics to deliver financial results efficiently to senior management• Prepare budget versus actual analyses, and meet with budget holders on a monthly basis to review department-level financial statements• Uphold high standards of quality assurance with consistent data validation practices• Build and maintain financial models and handle various ad-hoc projects as assigned• Engage with cross-functional partners across the organization to support financial initiatives and projects• Assist the Director of FP&A and other finance team members as neededRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus• Minimum of 5 years of FA experience within the Non-Profit industry• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEmployment type:• Contract to HireIf interested in this position apply today and send your resume to Regan.Pease@ LHH.comEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.accountingprincipals.com/candidate-privacy/ The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
