Senior Internal Auditor ($90-95k)

Summary:We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a dynamic and growing organization located in Fort Worth. This organization is a known leader in their industry and have a proven track record showing internal growth potential. This organization is two days' in-office and we are targeting a base salary of $90,000 to $95,000, depending upon experience.Responsibilities:• Lead and conduct comprehensive internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.• Develop and execute risk-based audit programs to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential risks, ensuring that audit activities address areas of highest concern.• Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and mitigating identified risks.• Evaluate financial statements and operational processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.• Assess adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, understand business processes, and communicate audit findings.• Foster strong relationships with business partners to promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.• Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and management responses.• Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in internal audit.• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of internal audit methodologies.Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field• 2+ years' working experience in either Public Accounting or Industry• Actively pursuing either CIA or CPA certification• Proficient verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work in a majority remote environmentNote: We’re excited to meet qualified candidates and will reach out for an interview soon!
