Licensed Esthetician -Kiehl's Since 1851

Kiehl's Since 1851 is looking for a New York State Licensed Esthetician to work performing facial services (steam, targeted extractions, high frequency treatments, galvanic treatments, and others) on clients in a professional, clean and fast-paced environment while building a clientele. When not performing services, the Esthetician will be working to book new appointments and selling with the team on the sales floor. Positions are part time with flexible shifts. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year as Esthetician
• Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations
• Must carry personal liability insurance
• Understand and believe in the benefits of skin care regimen
• Retail experience and comfortable selling skin care and leading with ingredients
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, fellow therapists, and sales staff
• Able to work flexible days and hours
• Esthetician knowledge of skin analysis, microdermabrasion, acid peels, galvanic, micro frequency and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year as Esthetician

• Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, fellow therapists and sales staff
• Able to work flexible days and hours
• Esthetician knowledge of skin analysis, waxing, microdermabrasion, acid peels, product knowledge.
• Highly motivated, proactive team player – dedicated to 5-star customer service
• The therapist is expected to operate in the best interest of the business and has the autonomy to do so
• Communicate and partner when decisions have an impact on the business outside of their four walls
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to walk up/down a flight of stairs numerous times throughout their shift
• Standing & walking is required 80% of the time
• Ability to use a ladder and step ladder
• Ability to stoop, bend and squat so as to clean and stock treatment rooms, non-sales area(s) and off-site stock room (if applicable)
