Senior Hardware Engineer II
Life360 is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to take ownership in product development, focusing on creating smart location-enabled products. The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer electronics and a strong background in electrical engineering.
Skills
- Experience in consumer electronics
- Expertise in CAD tools like Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, etc
- Understanding of global contract manufacturing
- Ability to design analog, digital, and RF electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Select major components, implement design, debug, and characterize embedded systems
- Design schematics, drive board layouts, assembly, test, and integrate designs into electro-mechanical systems
- Optimize architecture, circuits, and battery life for performance
- Validate RF performance and make design adjustments as needed
- Coordinate product certification efforts for all products
- Travel as needed to support product launches
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics
