IT Project Manager

The Technology Solutions Team exists to equip and empower the reach of the Church through technology. The team is responsible for all projects and operations related to IT support, infrastructure, computer hardware, and the audio, video, and lighting systems that Life.Church staff and attendees use each day.


The Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading project management initiatives for the Technology Solutions Team. This role will oversee IT-specific projects that can be focused on cybersecurity or IT systems and their objectives. Occasionally, this role will also manage other AVL or IT projects. The Project Manager will see a project through from approval to completion. This role is responsible for leading project management initiatives that support the direction, and efforts of their team to outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.


What You’ll Do
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Technology Solutions projects.
  • Lead through project goals to ensure objectives are clear, achievable, and aligned with the overall project scope.
  • Define, monitor, and share key performance indicators(KPIs) to track and share project progress.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and project milestones to leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with vendors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to communicate expected project outputs and monitor through completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform regular budget reconciliations and provide financial reports to leadership, addressing any variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships between the Projects Team and key stakeholders.
  • Properly document processes and standards to facilitate smooth knowledge transfer and ensure project continuity.
  • Regularly update project templates and communication framework to improve efficiency and alignment with project needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely capture of assets for each project including equipment, software, and materials to support effective resource management.
  • Build and grow strong relationships with other Life.Church teams and external partners to drive collaboration and project success.

  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
  • Ability to prioritize project tasks and delegate tasks effectively to maintain project progress.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.
