About You and this Role

This is the entry level for Software Engineers where you will be able to learn and contribute to enterprise products.

Key Objectives

Work on exciting projects that are positioned to ensure Liferay’s leadership in the digital experience platform
Deliver high-quality code that continues to move Liferay forward in the industry
Fixes bugs
Adds small features

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
Is fluent in at least one programming language
Has basic knowledge of relevant libraries and tools
Has basic notions of Computer Science and can understand software-related conversations and learn unknown concepts

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing enterprise level Java code
Can develop simple features and fix bugs of moderate complexity
Has basic knowledge of adjacent technologies to the area of expertise
Can run the common commands to develop, test, build and send code through the review process with little guidance
