ROLE OVERVIEW Life Stance Health is looking for a PR Manager to join its communications team. You will report to the Sr. Director, Communications and play a key role in supporting Life Stance Health's external communications program. Priorities include developing, leading and executing strategic PR efforts; designing and executing executive thought leadership platforms; drafting internal and external collateral, including messaging, media materials, talking points, etc.; and managing our external PR agency. This role will also partner closely with key functions across the organization, providing an opportunity to broaden your skillset and scope. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer who has demonstrated experience growing brand awareness through thoughtful, strategic communications efforts. COMPENSATION : $120, LOCATION : This position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere within the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES • Work to grow Life Stance's brand awareness through a variety of channels, including business, consumer and trade press. • Develop, oversee and execute strategic PR plans; collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure PR efforts support Life Stance's business objectives. • Prepare and coach executives ahead of media and speaking opportunities. • Own Life Stance's press bureau and spearhead media relations activities that convert to impactful placements. • Lead development and delivery of messaging, press releases, pitches, collateral, contributed content, speaking and awards submissions, etc. • Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of not only the media landscape but also our key competitors. • Manage the external PR agency and ensure strict adherence to KPIs, deliverable timetables, etc. • Proactively develop new pitch angles and fodder for media and liaise with the agency on execution. • Manage multiple projects at once with excellent attention to detail; demonstrate strict adherence to deadlines. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree. • 6+ years of experience in public relations/strategic communications; agency experience is a requirement. • Exceptional writing skills are a must.
