We're looking for a Finance Manager who is interested in stepping into the world of crypto, Web3 and DeFi to lead our financial operations.
This role will involve working closely with external accounting partners across both the Web2 and Web3 platforms to ensure the smooth and compliant running of our business, as well as leading the planning and reporting activities within the business.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape your career path and lead a team. It's a rare chance to enter the crypto industry with strong investor backing and a diverse set of responsibilities reporting directly to the CFO.
Reviewing closing activities, account reconciliations, monthly postings and process reconciliations
Managing our external accounting providers for all crypto and fiat transactions
Supporting the processing of daily payment transactions and ensuring compliance with internal processes
Implementing and owning financial and operational KPI's and project-related reporting for our business
Actively supporting the creation and updating of the business plan, analysing forecasting models and identifying opportunities and risks
Working with our data science team to optimise dashboards and processes to enable rapid reporting and reduce manual effort
Being the CFO's sparring partner, providing ad hoc analyses and forecasts to support management in making strategic decisions.
Based in the EMEA region
At least 3 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
Strong interest in crypto and DeFi and ideally knowledge of the space
Initial experience in business planning and modeling
Strong communication skills in both English and German (written & spoken)
