FUNCTION (Purpose of Job)
The shipping, receiving and warehousing of ingredients, materials and finished goods.
DUTIES (List most difficult to perform first, etc.)
- Follow established procedures on loading and unloading of ingredients, supplies and finished products.
- Maintain adequate levels of supplies to packaging and processing areas.
- Follow established warehousing procedures while staging or storing ingredients, materials and finished goods.
- Keeping accurate shipping and receiving tallies and loading manifests in SAP or MES. Perform Transfers as required in SAP and MES. Maintain integrity of SAP and MES system at all times.
- Removal of trash from warehouse, packaging and processing areas to compactors. Removal of recyclable corrugate to cardboard compactor.
- Safety and mechanical inspection of lift trucks.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate written and orally in English.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
This is a 2nd shift position: 4 pm-12 am
Pay $25.57/hr
$1000 sign on bonus after successful completion of 90 days
