As a Lightcast Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in generating new business opportunities for the company and be a part of building a world-class sales development team at a category defining tech company. As the glue between marketing and sales this role is responsible for carrying the baton from inbound marketing leads to sales opportunity as well as contributing to new pipeline generation via outbound efforts.

As a Business Development Representative at Lightcast, you'll be in the driver's seat of exciting new business opportunities while being an integral part of a dynamic sales development team. You’ll be the vital link between marketing and sales, taking important inbound leads and transforming them into real sales opportunities. Your day-to-day will involve engaging prospective customers through outreach like cold calling and emailing, while also nurturing inbound marketing leads to ensure they progress smoothly through the sales funnel. By building strong relationships, you'll uncover customer pain points, qualify interest, and ensure resources are smoothly transferred to our dedicated sales team. Tracking and reporting key metrics will help us enhance our overall effectiveness, and your insights will contribute to shaping our future sales processes. If you've got 0-1 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, that's amazing! Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot will give you an edge.
