The Research Analyst produces innovative research, consulting reports, datasets, data models, and visualizations that answer our clients’ most pressing problems about the future of work. A successful candidate will bring a passion for finding creative ways to apply data to solve client problems by developing and bringing to market actionable insights. The types of clients and projects will vary.
Major Responsibilities: - Support client projects by performing quantitative analysis using Lightcast’s world-class workforce data and other data sources to research, model, and recommend workforce solutions for global employers.
- Develop knowledge of issues related to human resources, workforce analytics and planning, and/or the impact of emerging technologies on the future of work.
- Generate custom datasets, reports, and visualizations that solve clients’ most pressing workforce challenges.
- Communicate key insights and recommendations to clients and consult clients on how to use data to make data-driven decisions.
- Develop innovative analytical models and document the methodology and findings in a manner accessible to a variety of audiences.
- Contribute to positive team culture by participating in team-building activities and being a supportive and empathetic colleague.

- Proficiency with SQL, Python, or related analytical tools and programming languages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to look at numbers, trends, and data to derive conclusions based on findings.
- Ability to compose written analyses that explain complex analytical concepts in simple terms.
