We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on, and entrepreneurial City Operations Intern to join our French team for a 4 to 6 months internship. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will actively support our core business growth across France (Paris, Marseille, Lille, Nice and Le Havre) by owning projects within Operations and compliance. By joining us before the peak season and the Paris 2024 Olympics, you'll be at the forefront of the micromobility scene, contributing to the future of cohabitation between operators and cities on the challenges of decarbonizing urban mobility.
This internship is an opportunity for you to build a strong set of skills in the field of Urban Operations as well as Government Relations in the sector of micro-mobility. This internship offers specifically the possibility to learn about Operations Management, Product Management, Government Relations, Logistics, Data Analysis and Project Management.
We are a remote first company! For many roles, we welcome applications from anywhere we operate. It's preferred that the individual hired for this role be within 25 miles or 45 minutes of Paris’ Warehouse.
What you'll do: - Support Lime’s mission to deliver an excellent level of service to its customer-cities by coordinating with Operations, Product and Data analytics teams and by building a strong relationship with the city representatives ;
- Support the product configuration of Cities in our internal systems to ensure a quick response to government requests, ad-hoc events or operational challenged ;
- Collaborate with the Government relations team at Lime and the city representatives to adapt Lime’s activities and fleet to the city’s needs and political challenges
- Contribute to local partnerships and new innovative projects to constantly improve integration of Lime service to the communities and cities Lime serves locally
- Help Lime provide a world-class service to the cities involved during the 2024 Olympics through internal collaboration and contributions to our hands-on operational response within the field (coordination of ad-hoc field projects, giant parking organization, event management, etc)
- Contribute to Lime’s expansion strategy by providing operational responses to the needs of new cities, to enable the deployment of Lime services
- Take part in the definition of new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence
- Produce ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions
University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements: - University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program with an expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026
- Convention de stage: The student should be enrolled in an educational organization that can sign a convention de stage with Lime.
- Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 16-24 week period starting in June or July or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruitment process
About you: - Passionate about urban mobility and curious to build skills in owning corporate relationships with public entities at local or national level
- Ability to bring multiple parties onboard and participate to cross functional efforts
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability to deliver precise and meaningful impact
- Bilingual in French, fluent in English
- Can-do attitude, no task is below you
- Ability to navigate, decode data, use data to build compelling narratives and build compelling data reports for cities
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized individual who can work independently with tight deadlines in a multicultural environment
Preferred Experience:
- Enrolled in top-tier Engineering, Business, Economics or Political Science degree
- Previous relevant experience in urban-related sector or fast-paced environment
