This is the opportunity for you.What you'll be doing- Constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations)- Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Angular to build a modern frontend- Leveraging Python, Java (Spring Batch) and Maven in building reliable backend ETL components- Managing the full lifecycle of web application development; from designing, building, testing, deploying, to monitoring- Using tools such as Gitlab, SonarQube, Splunk, Confluence, to drive operations and collaboration- Champion lean-Agile, DevOps principles and practices (e.g. CI/CD; you build it, you own it), and independent architecture- Improve individual and team effectiveness through coaching, engineering best practices/ standards, and driving a culture of initiative and innovation.- Exhibits, fosters, and cares for solution quality and efficacy- Understand the enterprise technology roadmap and how it ties back to team execution and deliverablesWhat we're looking forMust-haves:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience- 3-5+ years of experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position- JavaScript frameworks i.e. React, Typescript, Angular for frontend web development- Python and Java (Spring Batch) for developing and maintaining ETL jobs- SQL Server or other relational database systems- Microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web services/APIs- Modern container orchestration i.e. Kubernetes, Docker- Unit Tests (e.g. Mockito, Junit, Karma Jasmine)- Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Experience (3-5 years) with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps- Excellent communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Demonstrated ability to develop complex architectural solutions from conceptualization thru delivery while driving buy-in among business and IT stakeholdersNice-to-haves:Experience with Kotlin or MavenExperience with the pandas Python libraryExperience in TableauExperience with Spring BootWorked with Atlassian tools like Jira and ConfluenceExperience implementing AI models such as Sagemaker and Anthropic modelsApplication DeadlineWhat's it like to work here?At Lincoln Financial Group, we love what we do. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
