At this time, we are not working with any agencies.Fund AccountantJob SummaryA Mid-Level Fund Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of investment funds. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and investment operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in fund accounting and the ability to handle complex financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities• Fund Accounting:• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations.• Process and reconcile trade data, corporate actions, and cash transactions.• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.• Calculate and analyze fund performance metrics.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.• Investor Reporting:• Prepare and distribute investor reports, including account statements and performance reports.• Respond to investor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.• Financial Analysis:• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed.• Process Improvement:• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of fund accounting processes.• Implement process improvements and develop best practices.• Team Collaboration:• Work closely with investment managers, traders, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.• Mentor and train junior staff members.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in the asset management industry.• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.• Proficiency in fund accounting software and systems.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications• CPA or CFA designation.• Experience with multiple fund structures (hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity, etc.).• Knowledge of investment products and securities.About Lincoln Property CompanyLincoln Property Company (“Lincoln”) is one of the largest private real estate firms in the United States.
