Payroll Specialist

We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to provide quality service to clients and employees, that can be trusted with sensitive information and confidentiality working with client payroll and tax issues. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in office, 2 days working remotely.

 

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2+ years payroll processing experience
  • Proficient in payroll software. Experience with Paycom, Paychex, Gusto and ADP a plus
  • Experience with payroll tax issues 
  • Proven ability to complete work accurately and with attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Audit employee time and labor data submitted and interact with supervisors as required to verify data and resolve discrepancies 
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for multiple states and multiple clients 
  • Calculate wages, overtime, CA lunch and deductions based on company policies and legal requirements. 
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information. 
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and deductions. 
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes. 
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and update procedures accordingly. 
  • Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes. 
  • Process garnishments and communicate garnishment information to all parties. 
  • Assist in audits related to payroll and benefits. 
Pay Range
$60,000$65,000 USD
