JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for the scheduling and coordination of statewide distribution line Network activities, statewide local storeroom management of materials and inventory and minor storm restoration coordination activities. Requires strong working relationship with Customer Service Reps and Engineering Supervisor within region.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Operations Coordinator staff who monitor Network workload on a daily and weekly basis and shift line and service resources as needed to meet customer commitments and reliability initiatives and programs.
- Responsible for all activities associated with local storeroom personnel, materials and inventory.
- Responsible for monitoring weather conditions and outages and directing and management of restorations workers for minor storm events during both regular and after hours.
- Responsible for managing and scheduling Reliability Servicemen activities associated with Asset Management Reliability Programs and Initiatives.
- Responsible for statewide management of the underground locate and Network distribution line contractors.
- Coordinates the assembling of out of town storm response teams.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent work experience

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
- Distribution line construction, operations and maintenance knowledge.
- Strong leadership, negotiations and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of safety rules, practices and procedures.
- Computer skills with a working knowledge of Distribution Applications.
- Ability to respond to local and out of town minor and major storm restoration activities during regular and after hours.
- Knowledge of distribution line materials management processes and environmental processes associated with handling oil filled equipment or other environmentally sensitive areas.
- Knowledge of administering IBEW contracts.
