Responsibilities and practice

The Birmingham office of Dentons Sirote is seeking an experienced Litigation Support Specialist to join our team. The person hired for this position will work closely with our attorneys and other staff members to assume such responsibilities as

  • Serve as administrator for the group’s Relativity system.
  • Act as main point of contact for all ESI requests; manage e-discovery while maintaining the integrity and authenticity of information.
  • Integrate people, processes, and technology through all phases of discovery, including identifying, locating, preserving, collecting, preparing, reviewing, and producing documents, electronic information, and materials.
  • Combine the legal knowledge and skills of paralegals and attorneys with the technical knowledge and skills of information technology professionals, serving as a bridge between these two areas.
  • Manage document review projects by working with a team of vendors, attorneys, and paralegals to review documents in a database platform in preparation for production and coordinate the preparation of documents to be produced in accordance with discovery deadlines and format requirements.
  • Assist with the development of computer-generated graphics, demonstrative evidence, and presentations.
  • Analyze client, third party, or production data for potential issues and provide solutions when problems are identified.
  • Manage Trial Director software, track inventory of Trial Director Products, and perform general trial assistance.
  • General IT tasks.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in Computer Science/related field or comparable work experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience with Relativity system required.
  • Experience with Trial Director preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Paralegal or litigation experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with varying deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence applications preferred.
  • Great attention to detail.
