Position Description 

\n

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to proactively develop strong working relationships with our customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and to negotiate contracts to help close agreements and to collaborate with the sales team to help identify and grow opportunities within the assigned territory. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecast.

Responsibilities 

\n
    \n
  • Develop and execute the direct go-to-market sales strategies for named and new accounts in alignment with the company strategy.
  • \n
  • Manage complex sales situation and large projects, including lead qualification, opportunity development, deal negotiation, closing, and product turn up. 
  • \n
  • Build and nurture customer relationships to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • \n
  • Orchestrate partner/reseller resources to drive opportunities to close.
  • \n
  • Work with Account Managers (AM) to scale through the partner channel and engage in joint selling opportunities to increase regional revenue return.
  • \n
  • Manage business forecasting (monthly forecast, weekly commit, and pipeline development) using Salesforce.com.
  • \n
  • Work closely with the engineering team to create integrated solutions that address complex problems focused on LiveAction’s value proposition.
  • \n
  • Work closely with the marketing team to continually update and refine solution positioning/messaging based on customer feedback and interaction.
  • \n
  • Present at industry events/tradeshows.
  • \n

Qualifications 

\n
    \n
  • Five or more years of competitive Enterprise New Business and/or Account Management experience in a fast-growth, high-technology industry.
  • \n
  • Experience in developing business in an assigned territory to achieve pipeline growth over 100%. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding set sales targets throughout career history.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • \n
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • \n
  • Motivated self-starter with history of operating as a leader of teams that are not direct reports.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal skills (executive presence).
  • \n
  • Outstanding collaborator across groups and organizations.
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of working with complex strategic accounts, including calls on key decision makers and all other levels.
  • \n
  • Be able to position enterprise network solutions and articulate strategies to senior partner executives.
  • \n
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • \n
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field or equivalent experience.
