Our client is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, the community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region, and we are seeking a People Operations Manager to join our People Operations team, full time in Naples, FL.

We are searching for someone with 5-7 years of demonstrated generalist background with primary experience in recruiting and training, preferably in a hospitality related industry. This position requires you to have the ability to adapt to a variety of people operations issues and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches and have strong verbal and communication skills. This position is critical in supporting the Foundation and building the credibility of the People Operations Department by demonstrating understanding of the Foundation’s needs and providing focused solutions to address them. Reports to the Sr. Director of People Operations & Communications.


What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with each department to build the strategies that attract ,hire and retain the right people for the right roles
  • Establish best practices and track key organizational metrics
  • Lead international staffing (H2B) process,determining best talent sources, social media campaigns, creating/posting ads and developing and maintaining job descriptions
  • Partner with departments to ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience
  • Collaborate with department heads ensuring a welcoming and positive onboarding experience for new staff
  • Develop and cultivate talent retention strategies,leveraging feedback from multiple sources (exit interviews, surveys, analytics)
  • Evaluate internalprocessesandstreamlinetodrivecontinuedefficiency
  • Handle employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary action, partnering with department leaders where necessary
  • Strengthen company culture by championing and building out programs that foster engagement, inclusivity, and diversity
  • Ensure compliance with federal/local employment laws, including COBRA,FMLA,ADA, EEO-1, FLSA and company procedures, including auditing new hire paperwork, pre- employment requirements and special projects
  • Effectively manage and utilize Paylocity
  • Benefits administration,interface with carriers & employees to resolve issues,assist with annual Open Enrollment, and manage systems related to benefit plans, carrier systems, COBRA and billing
  • Manage workers compensation claims
  • Maintain employee information/files and create reports as necessary and creating and maintaining forms
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace
  • Administrative assignments
  • Other assignments and training projects as necessary


Qualifications
  • Four- year degree from accredited college/university in HR, Business or related field/equivalent experience
  • HR certification is preferred
  • 5-7 years of Generalist experience with 2+ years of Supervisor/Manager level experience
  • Working knowledge of H2B process preferred, but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS, preferably Paylocity

$80,000 - $85,000 a year
