About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to lead our referral growth efforts across a multi-state region. As the Regional Director, you will be responsible for managing and building a team of sales professionals focused on establishing and nurturing relationships with specialist providers and other key stakeholders. This role is crucial in driving our mission forward and ensuring that more patients have access to our high-quality infusion therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve referral growth targets. Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching, and holding the team accountable for their results.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth objectives within your assigned region (3-6 states). Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform and adjust strategies as needed.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with specialist providers, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare stakeholders to drive referral growth. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for Local Infusion’s services.
Performance Management: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues that may impact sales performance or hinder referral growth. Develop and implement solutions to address these challenges.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and clinical teams, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a sales team. Experience in infusion therapy or chronic disease management is highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) is a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare, the provider group ecosystem, and general trends in the industry. Familiarity with tactics and techniques to effectively engage with providers and gain access to offices.

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Must be located in region of Washington DC, Connecticut or New Jersey.
