ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Recruiting Sourcer at Local Kitchens, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and attracting top kitchen talent to meet the growing needs of our restaurants. You will focus your efforts on sourcing stellar General Managers and ensuring that our restaurants are fully staffed with the best hourly Kitchen Team Members. This position will require occasional travel to various locations to understand the local labor market, to build relationships with General Managers, and to represent our company at job fairs and recruitment events.
Candidate Sourcing:
Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates, including online databases, social media, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.
Develop and maintain a robust talent pool of qualified candidates for various positions within the company.
Hiring Events
Organize and run job fairs to appropriately staff our restaurants.
Candidate Engagement:
Conduct initial outreach to passive candidates through email, phone, and social media to gauge their interest and fit for open roles.
Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience and ongoing engagement.
Collaboration:
Partner with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and tailor sourcing strategies accordingly.
Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, market trends, and candidate feedback to the recruiting team.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitor activities to refine sourcing strategies.
Gather and analyze data on sourcing effectiveness and adjust approaches as needed to optimize results.
Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
Develop and execute sourcing plans to efficiently and effectively fill open Kitchen Team Member positions. GMs own hourly recruiting and you own the strategy.
Own New Restaurant Openings sourcing
Own full cycle GM and Kitchen Manager sourcing.
Conduct occasional visits to our restaurant locations to assess staffing needs and develop local recruitment strategies.
Build and maintain a network of potential General Manager candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
Collaborate with the General Manager and Area Managers to understand the skills and competencies required for restaurant operations.
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong employer brand presence in key locations.
Manage communications with candidates from the initial contact point to the final hiring decision.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment.
Utilize social media and job boards to conduct employment advertising, recruitment, and hiring.
Light help with corporate interview scheduling
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the restaurant/food service industry.
Experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems such as Ashby or Workstream.
Extensive experience with LinkedIn and Indeed for sourcing candidates.
Experience with high-volume recruiting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to travel to various restaurant locations and recruitment events.
Organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in using social media and job boards for recruitment.
We are an in-office culture and come into the office 5 days/week.
