Our team works at the intersection of artificial intelligence and edge solutions, solving some of the hardest problems in space.In this position you will:• Work side-by-side with data scientists, machine learning engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and software engineers to accomplish the mission• Develop advanced AI/ML solutions using state-of-the-art tools and concepts• Be part of a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary team spanning multiple different programs within the CASS portfolio• Assume technical leadership responsibilities, ensure standard methodologies, take ownership of critical tasks, and mentor junior engineersThis position is contingent upon the program award expected in Fall of 2024Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrated proficiency in Python scripting and/or object-oriented development (Java, C++, C#)• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and/or computer visionActive Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCIPreference for this requisition will be given to Space Employees.Desired Skills:• Experience in the Research and Development of one or more AI/ML disciplines or technologies (active learning, NLP, generative AI, adversarial ML, time-series analysis, etc.)• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and/or scikit-learn• Experience with cloud computing platforms or services (AWS, Domino, Azure, etc.)• Experience with ML Ops tools and practices• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex design information, technical decisions, and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Strong problem solving skills, business acumen, and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: TS/SCIOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,900 - $193,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
