The Software Architect will also ensure these solutions' scalability, performance, and security. They will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and architecture. Additionally, the Software Architect will network and communicate effectively with various medical device divisions, stay updated with the latest industry trends, and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt and implement new technologies and methodologies.What You Will Do:• Define and refine the design and architecture of AI and data science solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.• Demonstrates expert knowledge and proficiency in the complete software development process; leads and is accountable for the software architecture and interfaces for all features of a subsystem.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals.• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance, secure software architectures for medical data applications.• Ensure the seamless integration of AI models and data pipelines into the overall software architecture.• Communicate effectively with various medical device divisions to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the architecture.• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies and demonstrate flexibility in adapting and implementing new methodologies.• Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation to support regulatory compliance and operational needs.• Oversee the implementation of testing strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of software solutions.• Define design patterns, software development environment, unit testing environment, integration testing environment, and performance testing environment for all features.• Provide overall technical leadership support in use case analysis, feature definition, user needs, and functional and non-functional requirements.• Collaborate with external partners, academic institutions, and healthcare providers to enhance the capabilities of the software solutions.• Ensure the software architecture supports the continuous improvement and scalability of AI and data science solutions.• Help conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members to ensure best practices and high-quality code.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRINGRequired:• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development, focusing on AI and data science solutions.• Expert experience in designing and developing complex software systems.• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable software architectures.• Expert knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, SQL and Agile methodology.• Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated cloud services and DevOps.• Extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and database design.• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data engineering principles.• Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Expert level of knowledge with continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD).• Strong understanding of data security, secure-by-design principles, and best practices.• Evolves the architecture to support future requirements and defines its service level agreements (SLAs).Preferred:• Previous experience with healthcare technology or medical device software.• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare data standards.• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA.• Experience with semantic technologies and building domain ontologies.• Proficiency in data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).• Experience with advanced analytical platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Databricks).• Knowledge of data governance and compliance policies.• Ability to stay updated with industry trends and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Apply Now• Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
