We are an industry leader, offering a suite of fleet management solutions, including spares distribution, logistics solutions, repair and overhaul services and technical solutions.THE WORKWe are seeking an experienced and self-motivated International Trade Compliance Manager who is looking for a challenging work environment. Selected individual will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in managing all Derco international trade compliance activities, overseeing operations and ensuring programs and policies are aligned with applicable ITAR and EAR regulations, and partnering with the business to develop compliant solutions. The position will involve occasional domestic and international travel.Specific responsibilities will include:• Lead ITC initiatives and manage all aspects of export and import compliance, including jurisdiction and classification activities, for the business segment and assigned programs, including approving import/export applications for compliance and providing guidance and direction on ITC related matters.• Serve as Derco’s Empowered Official.• Raise awareness of general export/import control issues for the site through focused communications and training efforts.• Review and determine import/export requirements for business segment initiatives. Support as required new sales and business strategy determinations. Provide interpretation of company policies and procedures, work instructions, and ITAR, EAR, and FTR regulations.• Support investigations related to the team, including proactively identifying compliance gaps and required corrective actions. Successfully interface with the RMS Investigations team.• Communicate requirements for the international transfer of Derco products and technology and develop successful strategies to execute company goals.• Coordinate with Corporate ITC and other stakeholders to drive successful export licensing and technology transfer outcomes.• Hire, manage, and train staff on the following: jurisdiction and classification, export compliance, import compliance, administration of policies and procedures, and licensing.• Oversee applicable visitor management system as it relates to foreign nationals and visitors.• Lead Derco site audits to ensure compliance to all corporate and regulatory guidelines. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
