Description:What We're DoingAt Lockheed Martin, we are dedicated to advancing the capabilities of the Aegis Weapon System through comprehensive integration, development, and testing under the Aegis Baseline computer program. We support the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in ensuring the operational readiness and performance excellence of critical naval defense systems.The WorkThe primary responsibility for the Site Tech Lead & Deputy position is ownership and coordination for CSEDS Installation, Activation, Emergent Task planning and maintenance coordination. Individual will be the single point of contact for Activations to the O&M Program Office, reporting on schedule, status, materials, and matters relating to site activations under the scope of the O&M Contract. Candidate will also assist in planning and tracking progress of Facility and Tactical Maintenance projects. This will include maintenance of the site project master schedule as well as providing resource planning inputs to Management. Candidate will work closely with Site Management, Facility Engineering, Combat/Weapon System Engineering and Integration teamsCandidate will be the Site liaison to the O&M Program Office, Baseline Development Site IPT Leads, Site Management and other stakeholders in matters relating to Site Activations, CSEDS Project schedules and plans. This is inclusive of scheduling and tracking of work in support of NSWC-DD Sites Planning directed Incremental Test Configurations. The Planner will chair weekly status and Maintenance Window planning meetings, and monthly Site Project Schedule meetings.Candidates for this position are required to possess a background in Planning, logistics, working with Represented Skilled Trades and a high-level understanding of the AEGIS program and related systems & processes used in implementation, sustainment, and development. Strong understanding ofworkflow involved with receipt, installation andactivation of Government and Contract FurnishedEquipment. Familiarity with System Test (EitherProduction test or Development)• Expereince with Microsoft Office, andMS Project• Familiarity with US Navy terminology and practices.• Experience in Test Site engineering,Configuration Management or Logistics• Expereince with Site Configuration Management(CSEL, level codes and related processes),Development Baseline system configurations asthey relate to CSEDS. Functional understandingof Government Property Management as dictatedby the FAR.• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Test SitePlanning, Activation or Coordination, Logistics orrelated areaDesired Skills:• Background in workflow planning orcoordination, understanding of Site Integrationengineering and processes• CAM Trained and Certified. Familiarity withAEGIS Platforms (USN/FMS, BMD andderivatives)• Experience briefing senior leadership ontechnical matters in Bottom Line-Up Frontmanner and have the ability to translate complextopics into high level, easily related to programlevel personnel.• Experience in Windchill environment,background in Site Activation and relatedprocesses. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
